298 cups of coffee, 107 seniors, 17 servants, 15 tables, 6 raffled giveaways, 3 smiling greeters and 1 great bible study, made for an amazing senior breakfast! Over the past few months, CCM has hosted a monthly breakfast for the "golden boys and girls" (over 50 years of age) for a free breakfast, worship and bible study led by Pastor Pancho. In the past, the breakfast was held on church grounds, but as an outreach endeavor the pastors decided on a new location: Montebello Park Senior Center .

The event was open not only to those who attend CCM, but to all the seniors who regularly visit the senior center. "I've never been taken care of like this by a church," said Rose Clearwater, who recently started visiting the center and was curious about the event sponsored by CCM. "We thought this was going to be a trick! We didn't think that people would make us breakfast, serve us, and give us presents," agreed Clearwater's friend, Lucy Rangel. Both friends left excited for next event and promised to bring more of their friends.

By the end of the event, the seniors happily buzzed around the room excited for the next breakfast to be held on Friday, September 19^th at 8:30 a.m. at the Montebello Park Senior Center.
