As an act of gratitude and appreciation to On The Level radio listeners, Calvary Chapel Montebello joined forces with KWVE 107.9FM to host a radio rally held on Saturday, July 19th. The day was carefully planned to include loud music, raucous laughter and a hearty meal (both spiritually and physically). To ensure these requirements were met, the pastoral staff hosted East coast’s hottest Latin band,
El Trio de Hoy, brought in the comedy of Nazareth, had a designated time of worship with Brad Hooks and the CCM worship team, and listed to a promising message of Christ’s coming kingdom by Pancho. As if that wasn’t enough, over 1,200 tacos were served to all those who attended.

KWVE sent their faithful emcees to represent the radio station as morning host, Brian Perez, brought humor and commitment as refreshing as their motto: “A wave of living water.” OTL and KWVE gave away t-shirts, stickers, key chains and audio messages to some lucky attendees and guest artists were onsite to give autographs. As the sun set, soft sounds from CCM’s jazz band, Spoons, ended the night in style.
