Calvary Chapel Santa Fe Springs invites you to a free community festival at the campus of Santa Fe Springs High School on Sunday, May 30th from 2:00 - 7:00p.m, recognizing the families of our military heroes who have fallen in conflict.

The myriad of activities include: Giant slide, dunk tank, music by Phil Wickham, The Katina's, and the Gutierrez Brother. Dance group "Rhythm With Him" will perform. Children's entertainment featuring Jana Alayra. Food court featuring In-N-Out Burger, Joe Peep's Pizza & Jamba Juice.

The festival will conclude with a formal ceremony honoring our fallen heroes, presenting family members with a token of respect and appreciation. More information may be obtained at www.ccsfs.com.

The Whosoevrs & HHV present a free concert featuring P.O.D, Brian HEAD Welch (formerly of KoRn), Sevin, & All or Nothing on Friday, May 21st at 5:30p.m. at Huntington Park High School.

If you are interested in serving at this event as a New Believer Counselor, please attend the mandatory meeting on Tuesday, May 11th at 7:00p.m. held at Calvary Chapel Downey, or if you would like to serve as an Usher, please attend the mandatory meeting on Tuesday, May 18th at 7:00p.m. held at Calvary Chapel Downey.

The Quench Ministry of Calvary Chapel Montebello will be hosting an evening of hope and restoration with special guest speaker, Pastor Tommy Cota of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. The event will be held in the Sanctuary and will take place Sunday, May 16th at 6:00p.m.

After many years of running on the streets of Los Angeles with a drug addiction, Tommy Cota ended up spending over 5 years in prison. While in prison, his wife began attending church and praying for Tommy's salvation, and as a result, six months after parole, he surrendered his life to Jesus. Today, he has the privilege of serving our Lord at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. He oversees "Hands of Hope", a ministry which reaches out to the homeless community, "Released Time Christian Education", and "One Step to Freedom." Through Tommy's servanthood, he is reminded daily of God's grace, mercy, and agape love.
